We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Install and maintain electrical systems in adherence to local codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with contractors and other trades to integrate electrical installations.
- Manage inventory of electrical supplies and prepare purchase orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Document all electrical work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
- Stay updated on industry developments and new equipment technologies.
- Participate in emergency and on-call services for urgent electrical repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of electrician apprenticeship.
- Valid electrician license with certification for local and state areas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and systems diagnostics.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and ensure precision in work quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
