Electrical Site Engineer

The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising the electrical work carried out at the site. This includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Site Work:
• Supervise and guide electricians and technicians in the installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems.
• Ensure that electrical work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Work Planning & Execution:
• Schedule daily activities and allocate manpower and materials efficiently.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to ensure smooth workflow at the site.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure quality and adherence to safety and electrical standards.
• Address non-conformities and rectify defects during execution.
• Health & Safety:
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings regularly.
• Material Management:
• Ensure availability of required electrical materials and tools at the site.
• Maintain records of material usage and raise requisitions when needed.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain daily work logs, attendance, and labor reports.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the site engineer or project manager.
• Testing & Commissioning:
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
• Identify and resolve minor faults or issues during installation.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5to 10 years of experience in electrical site Engineer
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and layouts
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, IEC)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
