Electrical Project Manager

We are looking for an engaged and collaborative individual to join our Electrical Project Implementation Team (EPIT) at Maersk. As part of the Fleet Technology department, you will be involved in a variety of strategic projects related to decarbonization, energy efficiency, communications, and safety in the maritime industry. You will collaborate with internal teams globally, taking responsibility for implementing new equipment and retrofit modifications for Maersk's fleet of container vessels. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers, OEMs, shipyards, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects. Your primary responsibilities will include initiating and managing retrofit projects in Electrical, Navigation, and Communication scopes, ensuring compliance with international marine electrical standards and safety regulations. You will drive external stakeholders towards project objectives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the process. We are looking for a passionate individual with at least 7 years of experience in electrical projects within the marine field or offshore background. You should have expertise in new installations and retrofit projects, preferably holding an electrical engineering degree. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical management proficiency are essential for this role. Experience in design, commissioning, installation, and maintenance of marine automation, navigation, and control systems will be beneficial. Additionally, possessing a project management certification and proficiency in English and Microsoft Office will enhance your suitability for this position.
