Electrical Project Engineer

The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising electrical projects from concept to completion. This includes designing electrical systems, preparing project documentation, coordinating with contractors/vendors, ensuring quality compliance, and delivering projects within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Prepare project plans, schedules, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate and supervise electrical installation work at site.
• Ensure timely execution of project activities as per design and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and escalate delays when necessary.

2. Design & Documentation

• Prepare electrical drawings (SLD, layout, wiring diagrams) in coordination with design teams.
• Review and approve electrical schematics, load calculations, and material specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, test results, and as-built drawings.

3. Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Inspect installation work for quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct testing & commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes (IE Rules, IS Standards, NEC, etc.).
• Troubleshoot technical problems and ensure corrective action.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure timely material procurement and vendor management.
• Liaise with government authorities for approvals (if required).

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety practices on site.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Fresher or upto 1 years of experience in electrical project execution.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (HT/LT panels, cabling, earthing, lighting, motors, VFDs, etc.).
• Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
