Electrical Maintenance Technician

An electrical maintenance job involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring to ensure safe and efficient operation. Key responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, responding to emergencies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams Core responsibilities Inspection and maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration checks on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and machinery.  Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, such as faulty wiring, broken components, and malfunctioning equipment.  Emergency response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.  Installation: Install and replace electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.  Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.  Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.  Collaboration: Work with other departments and team members to coordinate repairs and projects and minimize operational disruptions.  Continuous improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance processes and equipment to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
