Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Head located in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, India. Key responsibilities include:

• Perform electrical and electronic maintenance of

  extrusion presses

  , billet heaters, pullers, stretchers, runout tables, ageing ovens, saw machines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, VFDs, control circuits, sensors, thermocouples, relays, limit switches, SCADA interfaces, and automation components.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production.
• Maintain transformer rooms, distribution panels, MCCs, PCCs, and safety grounding systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules with detailed documentation.
• Calibrate temperature controllers, pressure sensors, encoders, and related measuring devices.
• Inspect and maintain heating elements, SCR controllers, induction heaters, and control cabinets used in extrusion processes.
• Collaborate with mechanical and hydraulic teams during major breakdowns of the press and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and plant protocols.
• Maintain inventory of electrical spares and coordinate procurement.

Experience:

5 – 20 years

(Aluminium Extrusion industry preferred)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in aluminium extrusion or related manufacturing industries.
• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with

  extrusion press electrical systems

  preferred.
• Strong understanding of automation systems, industrial controls, and power distribution.
• Ability to troubleshoot both low-voltage and high-voltage equipment.
• Capable of handling emergency breakdowns independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Salary:

₹20,000 – ₹60,000 per month

(Commensurate with skills & experience)

Working Hours:

9 – 12 hours per day based on role and experience

Weekly Sunday off as per company policy

Gazetted & National holidays observed
