Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of all electrical works at the construction site. The role requires close coordination with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely completion of electrical installations in compliance with safety standards, design specifications, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical works at site including installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV systems, lighting, cabling, earthing, and panels.
• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other site teams for smooth execution of electrical works.
• Monitor subcontractors’ activities, ensure quality workmanship, and certify work progress.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Electricity Rules, IS codes, safety norms, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, material consumption records, and progress updates.
• Assist in vendor coordination, material verification, and approval of electrical equipment delivered at site.
• Support testing and commissioning activities of electrical systems before handing over.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness among team members and enforce site safety practices.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3–6 years (for Diploma) / 2–4 years (for B.E./B.Tech) in site-based electrical works, preferably in railway/metro/large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, electrical distribution, and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
• Good problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
