Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Design and Layout:

Creating and maintaining 3D models of wiring harnesses, considering factors like space, component placement, and routing paths. 

• 2D Schematic and Drawing Creation:

Developing 2D drawings and electricals schematics for wiring harnesses, including wire lists, connection diagrams, and assembly instructions. 

• Component Selection:

Identifying and selecting appropriate electrical components, connectors, wires, and other materials for the wiring harness. 

• 3D Routing and Support Design:

Determining the optimal routing paths for wires and cables, using retainers, channels, and other supports to ensure proper installation and prevent damage. 

• Quality Assurance:

Ensuring that the design meets relevant quality standards, including design for manufacturability (DFM), and supporting testing and validation. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Working with other engineering teams, such as electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing, to ensure the successful integration of the wiring harness into the overall system. 

• Documentation and Change Management:

Maintaining accurate documentation of the design, including BOMs & BOQ Development electrical/mechanical items, engineering change requests, and design updates. 

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

      Assisting in troubleshooting wiring harness issues during development and production. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in

  Electrical Engineering.

• 5-7 years of experience in electrical design or control panel engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software like Creo, AutoCAD, EPLAN and Solidworks. (mandatory).
• Experience with specialized wiring harness design tools like UGNX, Zuken E3.series, or similar. 
• Solid knowledge of

  electrical cabinet design

  , component selection, and wiring practices.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g.,

  IEC

  ,

  UL

  , or

  NFPA

  ).

• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
