Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra (Digvijay Industries Plant / Head Office)

Reporting To: Design Head / Technical Director

Job Purpose:
Design and develop electrical systems & components for power and distribution transformers, ensuring compliance with IS/IEC/IEEE standards, customer specifications, and manufacturability.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years’ experience in transformer manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, design software & electrical calculations
• Strong knowledge of transformer design (windings, vector groups, insulation, losses, accessories)
• Willingness to relocate to Aurangabad
• Open for Male/Female candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical design & calculations for transformer ratings, windings, insulation systems, tap changers, etc.
• Prepare electrical design drawings (schematics, wiring, connection diagrams, nameplates).
• Generate BOMs, loss calculations, and withstand designs.
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC/IEEE standards and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, purchase, production & testing teams.
• Support QC/testing, inspections & customer visits.
• Suggest design improvements & cost optimization ideas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
