Rol Job Summary: The Automation Manager oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance production quality. This role includes managing automation projects, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing processes. Additionally, the Automation Manager focuses on building strong customer relationships, overseeing service orders, and managing Aftermarket service order intake and execution to ensure seamless client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Management: Develop and implement automation strategies aligned with business objectives. Evaluate existing processes, identify areas for automation, and propose innovative solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Project Oversight: Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of automated systems and ensure alignment with Project requirements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to integrate systems effectively. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty. AFM Order Intake & Execution: Manage the intake and documentation of Aftermarket orders and Service orders. Develop workflows to prioritize, allocate resources, and track the progress of orders. Ensure timely and accurate execution of AFM orders to meet customer expectations. Monitor inventory levels and liaise with procurement teams to secure necessary materials for AFM projects if any. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians specializing in systems. Provide training on automation technologies, safety protocols, and customer-focused practices. System Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the performance, reliability, and troubleshooting of automation and systems. Implement upgrades and optimizations based on advancements in technology and customer requirements. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects and systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for operations. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all orders, including specifications, progress reports, and completion records. Generate regular reports on order performance, system efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team productivity. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 5-7 years in automation, maintenance, including leadership and customer-facing roles. Technical Skills: Expertise in PLC/SCADA programming, robotics, and control systems. Familiarity with fabrication processes and maintenance protocols. Proficiency in design tools like E-Plan, AutoCAD additional advantage Understanding of IoT, Industry 4.0, and modern technologies. Customer-Focused Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer relationships and expectations. Ability to handle service escalations and ensure timely AFM order execution. Proven ability to manage complex order intake and delivery workflows. Strong problem-solving, project management, and team leadership capabilities.
