Electrical Design Engineer – Control Panel

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a background in the Control Panel Industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in control panel design, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drafting, along with a good understanding of electrical components and industrial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Select appropriate electrical components (MCBs, relays, contactors, drives, PLCs, etc.) based on project requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in cost estimation.
• Coordinate with the production team during panel assembly and testing.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Maintain proper documentation for all design and project-related work.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (Electrical Module preferred).
• Good understanding of control circuits, wiring practices, and panel assembly.
• Familiarity with industrial automation components (PLC, HMI, VFD, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) and wiring drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
