Electrical Design Engineer Control Panel

As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in the Control Panel Industry, your role will involve designing and preparing electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate electrical components based on project requirements, preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), and assisting in cost estimation. Your coordination with the production team during panel assembly and testing will be crucial to ensure smooth project execution. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations. Troubleshooting design issues and providing technical support during installation and commissioning will also be part of your key responsibilities. Maintaining proper documentation for all design and project-related work will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Design and prepare electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD. - Select appropriate electrical components (MCBs, relays, contactors, drives, PLCs, etc.) based on project requirements. - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in cost estimation. - Coordinate with the production team during panel assembly and testing. - Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations. - Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support during installation and commissioning. - Maintain proper documentation for all design and project-related work. Key Qualifications: - Diploma/ B.E. in Electrical Engineering - 2-4 years of experience in the Control Panel Industry In this role, you will need a strong knowledge of AutoCAD (Electrical Module preferred) and a good understanding of control circuits, wiring practices, and panel assembly. Familiarity with industrial automation components such as PLC, HMI, and VFD will be an added advantage. Your ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) and wiring drawings, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be beneficial. Good communication and teamwork abilities are also essential for this position.,
