Job Summary:

Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare

  Electrical CAD & E-Plan drawings

  for control panels and machinery.
• Design and layout

  electrical control panels

  (500–700 I/Os).
• Carry out

  wiring, panel assembly, and layout design

  for control and operator panels.
• Perform

  installation, maintenance, service, and troubleshooting

  of SPMs.
• Conduct

  pneumatic wiring and piping

  , and integrate sensors and actuators.
• Maintain inventory of electrical equipment, tools, and materials.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams during machine assembly and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.
• Handle assigned projects independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in

  Electrical or Electronics Engineering

  .
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical design for

  automation or heavy machinery

  .
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  and preferably

  E-Plan

  for electrical drafting.
• Solid understanding of

  electrical circuits, panel wiring, and control systems

  .
• Knowledge of

  PLCs, drives, sensors, relays, switches, and field devices

  .
• Ability to perform

  basic electrical calculations

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in

  SPM (Special Purpose Machine)

  design and integration.
• Knowledge of

  pneumatic systems

  , sensors, and actuator wiring.
• Understanding of

  industrial safety standards

  related to electrical systems.
