Billing Engineer - Electrical

Job Summary:

This role involves collaborating with various departments, ensuring accurate documentation of project-related financial transactions, and maintaining a smooth billing cycle. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of MEP project billing procedures with experience of Electrical Billing.

Responsibilities:

Billing Documentation:

·        Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely invoices for Electrical/MEP projects.

·        Verify and cross-check project documentation to ensure billing accuracy.

·        Collaborate with project managers and engineers to obtain necessary information for invoicing.

Invoice Processing:

·        Enter billing information into the accounting system with precision.

·        Monitor and update project billing status regularly.

·        Address any discrepancies or issues related to billing and invoices.

Project Coordination:

·        Collaborate with project teams to understand project milestones and billing requirements.

·        Maintain effective communication channels with project managers and other stakeholders.

Documentation Management:

·        Organize and maintain accurate records of billing documents.

·        Ensure compliance with company and industry billing standards.

Reporting:

·        Generate and analyze billing reports for management review.

·        Provide regular updates on billing status and highlight any potential issues.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical or a related field.

·        Proven experience in billing within the Electrical/MEP industry.

·        Strong understanding of project contracts and billing terms.

·        Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
