Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a MEPF Senior CAD Draftsman located in the Greater Surat Area.

Core Responsibilities,

  1. Detailed Drawing Creation: Develop complex 2D technical drawings, plans (floor plans, sections, elevations, details) and 3D model/sketchup (often using Revit for BIM) for all MEPF systems (HVAC, Electrical power,/lighting, plumbing and fire safety).
  2. Design Translation: Convert engineergs' sketches, specifications, calculations, and marks-ups into precise, professional CAD/BIM deliverables,
  3. As-Built Documentation: Prepare Final "As-Built" drawings and revisions reflecting all chanfes made during the construction proces.


Quality Assurance (QA/QC),

  1. Self and Peer Review: Conduct rigorous slef-reviews and peer reviews/approvals of drawing prepared by junior draftsmen to check for accuracy, comleteness, and consistency before submission.
  2. Clas Coordination: Actively participate in clash detection process (ofen using software like Navisworks or Revit) to identify and resolve spatial conflicts between different MEPF systems, as well as with architectural and structural elements.
  3. Compliance and Standars: Ensure all drawings strictly adhere to project spceifications, industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local building codes), and company drafting standars,


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD Standards, Technical Drawing, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
  • Strong skills in creating and managing detailed technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • ITI or diploma in engineering, in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical with 5 year os experince,
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous.
