Job Description

As an Electrical and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer at Sundyne, you will be responsible for providing engineering support throughout the project management and operations cycle. You will play a key role in developing control packages based on project and customer specifications, ensuring product safety in all designs, and performing system specification and development for Control Systems and machinery monitoring systems. Your responsibilities will also include reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints, developing procedures and documentation, and preparing Factory Acceptance Test procedures. Some travel, including international, will be required for field support and customer meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Study project and customer specification documents and develop control package accordingly - Maintain product safety in all designs - Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use - Prepare Factory Acceptance Test procedure and complete the test at our facility - Perform basic design and troubleshooting of communications networks and wiring - Specification of process valves and instrumentation - Effectively plan, schedule, manage, and report on multiple projects with various deadlines - Follow local and international regulatory codes - Prepare and review skid electrical installation and needed BOM Technical/Functional Skills: - Understand all aspects of automation including PLC, DCS, SCADA/HMI, SIS, Electrical Design, and Instrumentation Design - Familiarity with various automation systems and hardware - Basic understanding of hazardous area electrical classification and international requirements - Working knowledge of MS Office products and industrial communication protocols - Proven programming skills for Rockwell/Siemens PLC and HMI platform Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor or master's degree in Instrumentation/Electrical engineering or equivalent - 6-9 years or more of related work experience If you are seeking growth opportunities and enjoy working with a team of happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you will thrive in your career at Sundyne.
