Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Engineering, Design of GPP (SLD, 11 KV Switch Gear, MCC, Distribution transformer, VFDs, Power Evacuation system, Relay co-ordination)
Monitoring expenses with optimum utilization of resources.
Co-ordination with Project team members (HO & Site), various contractors and supporting departments for all electrical activities.
Evaluation of critical activities and suggestion for remedial measures.
identify the areas of obstruction/ quality failures and advise on system and process changes for qualitative improvement in project work.
Follow up with various contractor and sub-vendors for timely delivery of the electrical equipment.
Planning, scheduling monitoring of the project schedule (equipments and cable schedule) submitted by various contractor w.r.t time and cost
Drawings, documents and material delivery, planning without affecting the project progress activities at site.
Periodically monitoring of the project progress.
Organizing progress review meetings at HO. (with various contractors, among the team members, with supporting departments).
Shall have hands on experience of GPP, operation and maintenance activities of electrical equipment i.e HT & LT MCC, PCC, Generator, Relay co-ordination.
Shall have experience of cement plant electrical equipments i.e. HT & LT MCC, PCC.
Knowledge of CEIG guidelines, approval procedures,
Coordination with Key Government agencies & regulatory authorities for certification of Electrical drawings (SLD and power evacuation and synchronizing scheme).
Windows, MS Office, Excel, Power Point, SAP.
