Key Roles and Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy and Planning (40%) 1.1 Build product strategy and action plans to increase product business with respect to branch & industry to achieve product growth targets. 1.2 To understand customer&aposs need, market trend, competitor analysis in order to estimate upcoming trends and updates for the products / solutions provided in focused industries. 1.3 Strategize action plans to increase profitability of the entire product basket with correct product mix and optimized solution. 1.4Identify market potential for particular product, Market study of competitors & identify product gap 1.5 Meet the annual, quarter & monthly budget/target with close collaboration with sales, Action plan to achieve the target & adopt the strategy to fill the gap, if any 1.6 Prepare product related material forecasting, stock planning and action plans to liquidate any slow-moving stock, in coordination with Supply chain team. 2. Product Promotion and Execution (30%) 2.1 Create product marketing weapons like short video, demo-kits, EDMS, success stories, comparison documents, industry guide for effective product promotion to win against competition. 2.2 Educate sales team on product positioning in respective industries. 2.3 Create product awareness within organization & upskill team members to promote the product. 2.4 Conduct product training programs & technical presentation for CP/customers and internal sales team members. 2.5 Collaborate with sales team to convert new business by customer visitation for product promotion. 2.6 Build relationship with PBU (Product Business Unit) members in terms of getting effective support 2.7 Support for technical queries from internal stakeholders (sales / application) 3. Team Management: (10%) 3.1 Responsible for performance of the team by monitoring / reviewing targets assigned to the team 3.2 Develop the capability and skills of team members to enhance productivity of the team. 3.3 To retain high potential members via team engagement and recognition. 4. What does this role entail For BOP area: Exposure in Switchyard SCADA & AUTOMATION, its Network management, LAN/OFC network, BCU, Server establishment operational exposure for 220kv SAS or above voltage level Exposure of CWP/CTF electrical system i.e. 6.6kv HT Breaker (ABB/Schneider)/LT breakers (L&T, BCH etc.) with inbuilt digital relays configuration & protection settings. Exposure in ABB/Siemens Relay well versed about relay coordination & its setting/ logic etc. Exposure (O&M) in SAP, M Cube, CMT, Meter data communication. Exposure WTP Elect System, smart metering, EMS system. Exposure of Raw material handling system (CHP) & its accessories like stacker reclaimer/Belt conveyers/Weighbridge electrical system etc. Exposure in Elect maintenance for AHP system i.e. 6.6kv & 0.415v Breaker/Switch gear/Motors & its accessories i.e. Dry ash Air compressor/wet ash conveying system etc. Exposure of troubleshooting for AC Drives/Control system (SIEMENS, L&T, ABB ACS 550 and ABB ACS 880). Exposure in O&M of Power Transformer, Isolators/ES, SF6 Breaker / CT/ PT at 220kv switchyard. Trouble shooting of electrical control ckt, preparation of RCA, & Modification of HT/LT/RP Panels on need based. Exposure of Protection relays for LT&HT Motor feeders & 220kv switchyard protection system are must. Experience in CHP system Preventive, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance of Service Transformers, HT/LT Panels and Motors & Motor Feeders, DC systems are inevitable. Ensure that all engineering documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Keep track of industry charging standards and protocols and create charging protocols for the company. Execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research. 4. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement. 5. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal NPI,SCM, Sales teams, customers, and certification bodies.
