As a Sales Executive at Universal System , you will be responsible for end-to-end sales and market development for our electrical and automation products (Drives, Motors, PLCs, LV/MV Switchgears, etc.), focusing primarily on clients in the Steel, Metal, Power, and Mineral sectors. Role & responsibilities: Market Development & Lead Generation: Planning and scheduling regular visits to customer sites across industries, especially Steel, Metal, Power, and Mineral sectors across Odisha and Jharkhand primarily (Pan India if need be). Constantly identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through on-ground visits and industry outreach. Maintaining consistent touchpoints to develop and grow business relationships. Identifying new clients and generating leads for our range of products and OEMs. Converting leads into business opportunities through in-depth engagement Product Promotion : Represent our range of products from OEMs including ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Yaskawa, and EWAC. Educate and promote product features to decision-makers and technical teams. Client Relationship Management: Interact with customers to understand requirements, recommend appropriate products, solutions, and present product USPs. Prepare and submit proposals, pricing offers, and technical/product details tailored to client needs. Maintaining consistent touchpoints to develop and grow business relationships. Sales Operations, Billing & Payment Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (Service, Finance, Dispatch) to ensure timely delivery, invoicing, and after-sales service. After-Sales Coordination: Supporting the service and technical team by communicating client issues or service needs. Staying involved in after-sales support to ensure smooth service delivery. Provide on-site support of installation, supervisioning and commissioning. Hands on experience in interface communication between Drive and PLC. Travelling to client Location for service call or solving issue Strong Knowledge of PLC Programming and HMI development on ABB/Siemens. To drive the service business portfolio forward(Service contract, retrofits, Spare parts, Repair) for Low/Medium Voltage Drives.
