Opening with a leading Construction company for their office in (Debari/Chanderiya at Rajasthan) , Hazira (Gujarat)

Role: EHS- EPC Project

Experience: 8 to 20 Years

Role & responsibilities

• Should have experience in managing all the activities relating to Health, Safety and Environment for the large EPC project
• Should be well conversant with EHS Safety/Fire standards and codes
• Should be well familiarized with EHS Systems and laws & statute to be followed for smooth execution of site
• Should have sound knowledge of safe operation of critical lifting and rigging, confined space, work at height, scaffold, blasting, suspended working platforms, crane operations etc.
• Should have In-depth knowledge on audits, inspections and occupational health surveys
• Should have conduced EHS induction and other Job specific EHS training programs based on the project activity to all employees and conduct of Environmental Awareness program.

• Assist in driving continual EHS improvements across the Project
• Co-ordinate, monitor and facilitate health and safety compliance and good risk management across Project
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits ensuring action plans in place
• Review, update and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure they are clear and meet or exceed legal requirements
• Responsible for reviewing and signing off Permit to Works, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
• Prepare written reports following all site visits, inspections, audits and investigations as & when required
• Preparing monthly statistical summaries and Safety, Health and Environmental reports for inclusion in the Senior Managers Monthly report
• Implementing several safety measures for minimizing occurrence of accidents & calamities; conducting investigations for determining the cause of accidents.
• Liaise with Client and governmental bodies for all EHS related activities.
• Prepare various EHS reports.
• Managing EHS Team according to activities and frequently reviewing construction phase safety plan
