As a Freelance Educational Coordinator, you will design, implement, and coordinate educational programs and initiatives for a variety of clients, such as schools, non-profits, educational institutions, or corporate organizations. You will work remotely or on-site, depending on the specific needs of each project, and will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure the success of each program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Design and Development:
  • Develop educational content, curricula, and training materials tailored to the needs of the client.
  • Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Adapt programs to meet the specific educational goals and outcomes of the organization.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of educational projects, from planning to implementation and evaluation.
  • Establish timelines, deliverables, and project milestones, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate resources, staff, and external vendors, if applicable, to support the project.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, educators, and other stakeholders involved in educational initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, collect feedback, and ensure alignment with the client’s expectations.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes regularly to clients.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training to instructors, facilitators, or employees on new educational programs and materials.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed to ensure successful implementation of programs.
  • Monitor participant feedback and adjust programs to improve effectiveness.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of educational programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the success of programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Generate reports and present findings to clients, making data-driven suggestions for future improvements.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Manage contracts, invoices, and other administrative responsibilities related to the freelance nature of the role.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in educational coordination, program management, or curriculum development. Experience in freelancing or contract work is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Ability to adapt educational content for different audiences and learning styles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
