Edtech Admissions Counsellor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and learner-focused Admission Counselor to drive enrolments for E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur’s educational offerings. The ideal candidate will proactively engage prospective learners, guide them towards the right courses, and ensure a high standard of service throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Engagement:

  Achieve daily communication targets by making outbound calls to assigned leads and ensuring consistent follow-ups.

• Course Guidance:

  Understand student requirements and assist them in choosing the most suitable E&ICT Academy courses/programs based on their goals and background.

• Upselling & Cross-Selling:

  Identify and act on opportunities to recommend additional or alternative programs that add value to the learner’s experience.

• Process Adherence & Reporting:

  Maintain strict adherence to internal sales processes and submit timely and accurate activity reports.

• Learner-Centric Approach:

  Provide exceptional service with a focus on understanding and fulfilling learners' expectations.

• Issue Resolution:

  Address and resolve escalations promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention of students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Customer-first mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in Edtech counselling or consultative sales roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed targets
• Familiarity with CRM tools (Leadsquared preferred) and reporting systems
