Editorial Advisor

Role Overview: As an Editorial Advisor at Springer Nature Group, you will be responsible for supporting the entire publication process of manuscripts from submission to production. Your role will involve analyzing manuscripts, completing AIP/RC checks, communicating with editors, handling manuscript-related queries, tracking project logs, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and productivity targets. Additionally, you will be expected to identify process improvements and share knowledge in team meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing manuscripts and completing the AIP/RC checks with the help of a set checklist - Communicating effectively with Editors - Handling manuscript-related queries from Editors - Tracking and maintaining various project logs and reports - Following timelines and delivering within SLA - Achieving/exceeding set quality and productivity targets - Identifying and suggesting process improvements - Sharing knowledge in team meetings Qualifications Required: - 1+ year of experience - Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite - Good knowledge of performance metrics - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities - Decision-making skills - Masters degree or equivalent in Life sciences Note: In accordance with internal career movement guidance, 12 months in the current role is a requirement before applying to a new role.
