ECONOMICS WRITER (MASTERS/ MPHIL / PHD)

About The Opportunity

• Produce well-structured articles, policy briefs, and textbook chapters covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, development, and applied econometrics.
• Convert dense research findings into engaging narratives supported by data visualisations, tables, and real-world case studies.
• Conduct comprehensive literature surveys, identify evidence gaps, and weave insights into cohesive storylines aligned with client guidelines.
• Apply econometric techniques to clean datasets, run regressions, and interpret results for publication-ready deliverables.
• Ensure all manuscripts meet style, citation, and plagiarism standards; liaise with editors for iterative revisions.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts, instructional designers, and graphic artists to package content for multi-format release (web, print, interactive).
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Master’s, MPhil, or PhD in Economics or closely related discipline.
• 2+ years academic or professional writing experience with peer-reviewed output.
• Proficiency in econometric software (Stata, R, or Python) and advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into clear, concise prose.
• Strong command of APA/Chicago citation and scholarly ethics.
• Self-driven, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working across time zones.
