Description
As the Country COE Leader for EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) within the Industrial Automation sector, your role is critical in leading the Centre of Excellence (COE) to drive best practices, innovation, and efficiency in solutions and applications. You will collaborate closely with sales teams to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot effectively, and support successful EAE implementation in customer solutions. Your responsibilities include: - Provide support to sales teams on automation & control system projects to accelerate sales growth and increase conversion rates using EAE. - Act as the technical subject matter expert to define and implement optimized automation & control systems with EAE. - Identify technical requirements and constraints for EAE adoption, offering tailored solutions to customers. - Explain and demonstrate the technical advantages and disadvantages of proposed architectures using EAE. - Create solutions architecture, application solutions, and demos to highlight the value and benefits of EAE, supporting the sales team in convincing customers. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a matrix organization. You must possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, understanding the pivotal role of technical teams in driving sales growth and winning new business. Key qualifications include: - Strong technical expertise in industrial automation to design optimized solution architectures. - In-depth knowledge of automation hardware and software, including communication networks. - Ability to integrate new automation technology into existing control systems and support sales teams in customer engagement. Your key responsibilities as the COE Leader include: Sales Enablement: - Provide first-line support to sales teams for winning customers and projects using EAE. - Offer solution and application support to OEMs, system integrators, and end users leveraging EAE. - Troubleshoot complex automation challenges and assist customers in developing solutions with EAE. Customer Engagement: - Collaborate with industrial customers and partners to understand their automation challenges and tailor EAE solutions. - Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot deployments, ensuring successful EAE implementation. - Engage with executive stakeholders to define automation strategies and drive adoption of EAE. Technical Ownership & Best Practices Development: - Design and build solutions supporting customers with EAE. - Support the creation of technical documentation and design guides using EAE. - Conduct technical validation reviews for large-scale automation projects and optimize system architecture. Training, Enablement & Technical Advocacy: - Support country-wide training needs and create technical marketing content to promote EAE. - Represent Schneider Electric in industry forums and engage with academic institutions to drive EAE adoption. Deliverables under your leadership include: - Conducting EAE demos and workshops. - Designing system architectures and application solutions. - Supporting project execution and providing feedback and documentation. - Engaging with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of EAE initiatives. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with proven leadership experience in technical roles. Additionally, you should have expertise in IIOT, code development, networking, and programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and JavaScript. This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Travel of approximately 30-50% may be required for this full-time position.,
