Job Description

Job Title: E-Commerce Executive

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing online sales channels, ensuring smooth store operations, improving product visibility, coordinating with internal teams, and driving revenue growth. The role involves handling product listings, analyzing sales performance, executing online promotions, and ensuring an excellent customer experience across e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Listing & Content Management

* Create, update, and optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, website, etc.).

* Write clear, engaging product descriptions and upload high-quality images.

* Ensure all product information is accurate and up-to-date.

2. Order & Inventory Management

* Monitor and process online orders.

* Coordinate with the warehouse/logistics team for timely packing and delivery.

* Track inventory and update stock levels on all platforms to avoid overselling.

3. Sales & Performance Analysis

* Analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

* Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to boost revenue.

* Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product strategies.

4. Campaigns & Promotions

* Plan and execute online promotions, seasonal sales, and campaigns.

* Coordinate with marketing teams for digital ads, email marketing, and social media promotions.

* Manage platform-specific campaigns (e.g., Lightning Deals, Sponsored Ads).

5. Customer Experience & Support

* Respond to customer queries, reviews, and complaints promptly.

* Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.

* Coordinate return/refund processes when required.

6. Platform Relationship Management

* Communicate with account managers of e-commerce marketplaces.

* Stay updated on new platform features, policies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

* 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations (preferred).

* Strong understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with data analysis.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Meesho , Flipkart , Amazon or similar platforms.

* Knowledge of SEO for product listings.

* Basic understanding of digital marketing (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

* Ability to work with spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical tools.
