E Commerce Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented E-Commerce Accountant to manage our Myntra seller account's financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in payment reconciliation, accounting (basic to advanced), GST, TDS, Tally ERP, and e-commerce financial management. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate reconciliation of Myntra payments, and maintaining proper financial records to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce & Payment Reconciliation (Myntra)

• Manage and reconcile Myntra payment reports with company sales data.
• Resolve discrepancies related to payments, deductions, returns, and commissions.
• Verify and validate settlement reports, transaction charges, and refund amounts.
• Track and report order-wise profitability after deductions and charges.

Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain accurate financial records in Tally ERP.
• Handle GST, CGST, SGST calculation, filing, and compliance.
• Process TDS deductions, returns, and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all e-commerce and offline transactions.
• Prepare and maintain profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Bookkeeping & Compliance

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary data and clarifications.

Return & Claim Management

• Track and reconcile returns, replacements, and damage claims on Myntra.
• Liaise with Myntra support for claim approvals and settlements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting (e-commerce experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, GST portal, TDS filing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Myntra seller panel and payment cycle is a plus.
