Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Architect

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Data) Architect / Expert for a short-term engagement to support remedial and optimization work within the client’s existing Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Data) environment. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Customer Insights – Data (CI-D) and ideally some exposure to Customer Insights – Journeys (CI-J), to ensure the platform is properly configured, optimized, and aligned with best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess and remediate existing Dynamics Customer Insights (Data) setup to address configuration, data model, and process issues.
• Optimize data ingestion, unification, segmentation, and enrichment processes within CI-D.
• Review and enhance existing Customer Profiles, Measures, and Segments for performance and accuracy.
• Ensure the Customer Insights instance aligns with Microsoft-recommended best practices and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure platform configuration supports business requirements.
• Provide recommendations for future improvements, including integration or alignment with CI-Journeys.
• Deliver clear documentation and knowledge transfer to client technical teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 ecosystem, with at least 2+ years focused on Customer Insights (Data).
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data (CI-D).
• Experience designing, configuring, and optimizing CI-D environments.
• Strong understanding of data unification, ingestion, segmentation, measures, and KPIs in Customer Insights.
• Exposure to Customer Insights – Journeys (CI-J) is beneficial but not essential.
• Solid understanding of data flows between Dynamics 365 apps, Dataverse, and external sources.
• Microsoft Certifications related to Dynamics 365 / Power Platform preferred.
• Ability to diagnose configuration issues and implement corrective actions efficiently.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to work independently in a short-term project setup.
