Job Description

Ro Responsible for Operation of Plant (SMS, CCM, Rolling Mill, Bright Bar, Mechanical & Electrical) To manage operations of EAF, LRF, VD, CCM, Rolling Mill, Bright Bar, Mechanical and Electrical to meet the production, maintenance & quality against the plans. Maintenance the healthiness of the equipment at shop floor to ensure the production as planned. Monitoring the safety, Health and environment norms. Cascade the monthly and annual production plan to create rolling monthly and daily plans, ensuring that the overall production strategy is being met. Responsible for monitoring maintenance plan and procedure, preventive maintenance and routine maintenance. Take responsibility to ensure that the team imbibes the committed company's values around Customer, Safety, Employees, Excellence, Results, Integrity & Sustainability Manage the human resources of the unit to have an engaged, competent team and enable a working environment that drives high performance Organizing on the job trainings to ensure that safe working conditions are created, Ensuring the Quality Management System. Monitor the problems, procedures, improving efficiency and quality of processes, monitoring the Process Control Parameters and taking corrective and preventive action to make the process stable. Develop and implement strategies and frameworks for continuous process improvement to optimize and improve efficiency of processes in Operations area. Monitoring of safety & product quality standards, checking parameters and productivity to maintain cost efficiency etc. Taking corrective and preventive measures to ensure that all the accidents are prevented Drive production of steel and monitor the actual vs. planned production in order to ensure that the targets are being achieved as per the monthly plan. Plan, develop and implement production strategy for Operations Responsible for fulfilment of production targets through efficient operation. Ensure quality of product produced to adheres to customers satisfactions. Oversee and ensure adherence to maintenance, safety norms and drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency in Operations. Oversee development of new grades/ product and ensure completion of capital expansion projects. Initiate cost control projects and its periodic review. Develop annual production plan, including financial and budgetary plan Attend daily Operations meetings and review previous day production, delays, breakdowns, rejections; Provide guidance and inputs to concerned section as required. Monitor key process parameters for operations. Handle escalations and complaints received from customers / internal functions, analyze the issue to ensure resolution. Review root cause analysis reports to assess the cause and the corrective / improvement actions taken. Monitor various MIS reports as per requirement of top management such as yield, power, delays, consumptions. le & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
