Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations
Oversee medical billing, charge entry, claim submission, and billing compliance
Ensure adherence to US healthcare payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial payers)
Lead and manage medical billing teams and billing operations
Monitor billing KPIs, productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics
Analyze denials, rejections, and billing trends
Implement process improvement and operational best practices
Coordinate with AR, coding, and operations teams for revenue optimization

Preferred candidate profile

15+ years experience in US Medical Billing / RCM
Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, claim lifecycle, and payer rules
Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS (billing perspective)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance
Strong team management, leadership, and reporting skills
Experience with billing audits, compliance, and quality control
Exposure to denial management and root cause analysis
Must be from start-up or mid-size company
