Job Description

Required experience in quality Alloys Steel Manufacturing plant, Forging Plant. Candidate having Strong Leadership. Responsible for all quality related Activity for finished product like - Round Bars, Bright Bars. Should be responsible for Managing & development of analytical methods for Iron & Steel preparations. Responsible for quality of SMS, Rolling Mill, Bright Bar. Ensuring adherence to quality systems, maintaining requisite documents to ensure complete in-process quality & improvement in process capabilities; providing guidance & recommending improvements on production methods to reduce production costs. Developing customer assessment systems, identifying areas of quality failures & taking steps to rectify the system; taking preventive and corrective actions to avoid the reoccurrences. Working on succession planning of the workforce, shift management activities, appraising the members performance & providing feedback. Identifying & implementing the Customer Specific Requirements in processes through Quality Assurance Plans & Procedures - RoHS/REACH/ELV/Regulatory Compliance - PPAP Documents & Sample Retention - Product Manufacturing Quality Records Retention - Measurement System Analysis - Statistical Process Control - Change Management (Engineering Change, Process Change, 4M Change etc.) - Product Layout Inspection - Control of Non-conformance (Rework/Repair/Concession) - Sub-Supplier Control To compile the Technical Inquiry / Process Capability Review for new customer / new grade. Creation of quality standards and activities related to product Quality for various processes as per the Customer's Requirements Driving the Quality Culture & deploying the Quality Assurance plans (Inspection & Testing as well stage wise process monitoring) throughout the manufacturing process route (Raw Material to finished product) in line with the requirements of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 including Customer Specific Requirements, PED/QMS/2014/EU/68 and Well-Known Steel Maker/IBR 1950. Implementation, maintenance and improvement of Laboratory QMS in line with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard with Impartiality, Confidentiality and Operational Integrity. Implementation & adherence of EHS Operational Controls w.r.t. ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standard requirements in QA Lab, Billet Yard, Annealing Furnaces & CFD. Responsible for Preparing the specification of SOPs and relevant documents as well as undertaking analytical method validation and related documents as per the IATF-Standards.
