Driver Professional

The Drivers Staff is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and sometimes personnel for our textile retail store
This role requires a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, familiarity with local roads in Kerala, and a commitment to safety and efficiency Depending on the specific assignment, duties may include delivering goods to stores or customers, transporting stock between locations, or running errands as required Responsibilities: Operate company vehicles (eg vans, trucks) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries and pickups Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods and materials Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit In some cases, may be responsible for delivering online orders or special customer orders Obtain necessary delivery confirmations and signatures Perform daily checks on the assigned vehicle (eg tires, lights, fluids) and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel and necessary documentation Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation Report any accidents, incidents, or delays to the store manager immediately When not engaged in driving duties, may be required to assist with basic warehouse or store tasks such as organizing stock, packing, or other logistical support Follow instructions from the Logistics Manager, Dispatch In-charge, or Store Manager Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures Ensure the safety of the vehicles contents and other road users Maintain a professional and courteous manner, especially when interacting with store staff, customers, or other stakeholders Requirements Education: Minimum SSLC or equivalent License: Heavy vehicle license is must Experience: Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or delivery role, is desirable Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus Benefits Excellent Salary Package Free Food & Hostel Six Leaves Per Month ESI & PF Benefits Performance Incentives Leave encashment Festival Bonus
