Job Description

Job Summary:

The DP Coordinator is responsible for the effective implementation, development, and administration of the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in accordance with IB guidelines and the school’s mission. The Coordinator ensures alignment of curriculum, assessment, and teaching strategies with IB standards and supports faculty and students in achieving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Programme Leadership:

  • Oversee the planning, organization, and delivery of the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Ensure all aspects of the programme are implemented according to IB guidelines.
  • Liaise with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and ensure timely submission of all reports, registrations, and documentation.

Curriculum & Instruction:

  • Collaborate with subject teachers to ensure a coherent and comprehensive curriculum.
  • Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery and student progress.
  • Support teachers in integrating IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning (ATL) and IB Learner Profile attributes.

Assessment & Reporting:

  • Ensure internal assessments and predicted grades are managed and submitted in accordance with IBO deadlines.
  • Organize and coordinate the administration of external DP examinations.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Teacher Support & Development:

  • Facilitate professional development and IB training opportunities for DP faculty.
  • Conduct regular meetings with DP staff to support collaborative planning and review.

Student Support & Guidance:

  • Guide students and parents through the DP course selection and subject choices.
  • Support students in fulfilling DP core requirements (CAS, EE, and TOK).
  • Provide academic and career counseling in relation to university admissions.

Communication & Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reports.
  • Organize DP events such as orientations, parent information sessions, and student workshops.
  • Foster effective communication between students, parents, teachers, and the school leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
  • IB-trained with a minimum of 2–5 years of experience in teaching and coordinating the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Strong understanding of the IB philosophy, DP curriculum, and assessment practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively with a diverse school community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
