Job Description

Job Role: .NET Developer (WCF, WPF)

Exp: 4+ Yrs

Location: Remote

.NET Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
Windows desktop applications
using
WPF
and
.NET (C#)
.
Develop and integrate
WCF services
and APIs for inter-application communication.
Implement
MVVM
design pattern for clean architecture and maintainability.
Work on UI/UX improvements using
XAML
, data binding, styles, and templates.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of desktop applications.
Collaborate with QA, product, and backend teams for feature development and releases.
Maintain proper version control using Git/TFS and participate in code reviews.
Write clean, scalable, and reusable code with proper documentation and unit testing.

Required Skills:

Strong programming skills in
C#
,
.NET Framework / .NET Core
Hands-on experience with
WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
and
MVVM pattern
Expertise in
WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)
– service creation, hosting, and consumption
Good knowledge of
XAML
,
data binding
,
dependency properties
, and
commands
Experience with
Windows Services
,
multi-threading
, and
asynchronous programming
Solid understanding of
OOPs concepts
,
design patterns
, and
software architecture
Familiarity with
SQL Server
or other relational databases
Experience with
Git / TFS / Azure DevOps
for version control and CI/CD

Good to Have:

Knowledge of
WinForms
,
Entity Framework
, or
RESTful APIs
Exposure to
.NET 6+ / .NET Core
migration projects
Experience in
Unit Testing (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest)
Familiarity with
Dependency Injection (DI)
and
Inversion of Control (IoC)
Basic knowledge of
Azure services
or
cloud deployment
