Document Controller

The role involves managing all project documents, test sheets, QA/QC records, PTMS files, and handover documentation during the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Integrated Performance Testing (IPT) phases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY-

• Manage and control all project documentation related to

  commissioning, QA/QC, PTMS, IPT, O&M manuals, and handover dossiers

  .
• Maintain revision control, document numbering, transmittals, and distribution logs.
• Collect, verify, and organize test sheets, calibration reports, checklists, and commissioning records.
• Support Technical Writer and Documentation Head in preparation of final handover documents.
• Upload, track, and maintain documents in

  Document Management Systems (DMS)

  such as Aconex / SmartPlant / SharePoint.
• Ensure compliance with project templates, client specifications, and PMC standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for the timely submission of documents.
• Prepare and update

  document registers, trackers

  , and follow-up reports.
• Assist in compiling

  as-built documentation

  and close-out files.

REQUIREMENTS-

• Diploma / B.Tech / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

• 4–7 years of experience

  as a Document Controller in

  refinery, EPC, industrial, or process plant projects

  .
• Strong knowledge of commissioning documentation, QA/QC records, and handover processes.
• Experience using DMS tools (Aconex, SmartPlant, SharePoint, etc.).
• Excellent organisational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage large volumes of technical documents.

• Open to travel

  and work on-site for the Qatar commissioning phase.

Salary up to 7 LPA.
