The Opportunity As the Senior Project Manager for Rail, act as the Arups representative in front of its clients with discretion, good judgement, personal motivation and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams. Manage project planning, control, and estimating and co-ordinating the work of project teams. Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a relevant subject, such as Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management or Project Management. Extensive experience working in a design consultancy as a Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering projects in collaboration with remote design centres. Ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher-than-normal workload Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments and to develop and maintain successful client relationships. Planning and organizational skills with excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with relevant QA processes. Proficiency in CAD required and in Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon calculation will be an added advantage.
