We are seeking a passionate Django Developer with 3-4 years of professional experience to contribute on a contracted basis. The ideal freelancer will have hands-on expertise in Django, Python, REST API development, and deployment practices, plus a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivery.

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Django and Python.
• Design and implement robust, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data management, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Implement asynchronous tasks and background jobs using Celery.
• Integrate Daphne, Redis, and WebSockets to support real-time features.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker (mandatory for this role).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, other developers) to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and ensure code quality and best practices.

• 3-4+ years of experience with Django and Python.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (queries, schema design, performance tuning).
• Experience with Celery for background task processing.
• Experience with Daphne, Redis, and WebSocket-based communication.
• Hands-on experience with Docker (mandatory).
• Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Good exposure to using large language model (LLM) models for task automation and productivity.
• Strong understanding of ORM concepts and database modeling.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Fixed hourly rate within INR 350-450 (based on experience and fit).
