Django Developer

We are hiring a Full Stack Django Developer who has hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, understands database design using PostgreSQL, and is comfortable with deploying Django applications to production. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of development and deployment tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Django and Django Rest Framework.

● Work on both backend (Python, Django, PostgreSQL) and frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, basic frameworks like React or Vue preferred).

● Develop and integrate REST APIs with frontend interfaces.

● Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimized queries and schema structure.

● Deploy Django applications to production using platforms like DigitalOcean, Render, or AWS, and manage servers using tools like Gunicorn, Nginx, Supervisor, Docker, etc.

● Debug and troubleshoot application issues across development and live environments.

● Manage version control using Git and GitHub/GitLab.

● Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers in a team environment.

Required Skills:

● 3 years above experience in Django and Django Rest Framework.

● Strong experience with PostgreSQL and writing efficient queries.

● Basic to intermediate frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Vue is a plus).

● Solid understanding of Git for source code management.

● Familiarity with deployment processes on cloud platforms:

○ Ubuntu server setup

○ Gunicorn + Nginx

○ Docker basics (optional)

○ SSL with Let's Encrypt or Certbot

● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

● Basic Linux command-line experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
