Role Overview

Order to Cash Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Billing

• Process and validate customer orders in ERP systems
• Ensure accurate invoicing aligned with contract terms and delivery schedules
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support O2C cycle optimization

Cash Application & Receivables

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts with precision
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and remittance issues
• Monitor AR aging and drive timely collections follow-ups
• Manage direct debit processes and cash receipt tracking

Dispute Management & Reconciliation

• Perform AR reconciliations across legal entities to identify disputes
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective action plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dispute closure and compliance

Reporting & Month-End Close

• Execute daily cash allocations and bank reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and month-end close activities
• Maintain documentation for audit readiness and internal controls

Process Optimization & Tools

• Use tools like

  JIRA

  for issue tracking and workflow management
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance automation and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in O2C processes and documentation

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve queries
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely issue resolution

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in O2C or finance operations
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with automation tools
• Exposure to shared services or global finance environments
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and tools like JIRA(Not Mandate)
