Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher at Glen Group, you will serve as the initial customer contact for telephone calls. You will screen the calls to understand the nature of the inquiry and satisfactorily resolve the request while ensuring that Glen Group's Core Values are demonstrated in all activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing schedules & dispatch of the guards on a computer software - Calling the security guards regularly to ensure their attendance and performance at the job - Routing relevant information to other departments and locations as appropriate via Action Request - Developing and maintaining knowledge of Glen Group Operations - Handling job duties in their appropriate priority with accuracy and efficiency - Keeping up to date with information shared through different modes of communication - Communicating effectively over the telephone with sensitivity and tact - Maintaining confidentiality involving any information made available directly or indirectly about clients, candidates, employees, and the company - Working in a manner that protects one's own health & safety as well as the safety of co-workers and others Requirements for this position include: - Minimum 1 year of Canadian/US dispatch (tracking experience) - Knowledgeable in using Microsoft programs - Good verbal and written communication skills, courteous telephone manners - Comfortable with PC-based technology, keyboarding, and navigating through applications to source information - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work both as a team player and independently - Desire to meet and exceed pre-defined performance goals If you are a passionate individual who values Caring, Customer Centered, adaptable and Teamwork, and can embody these values daily, we encourage you to apply for this position at Glen Group.,
