Dispatch Manager

As a Dispatch Manager at Port Pro Transport Inc., located in New Jersey, USA, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the dispatch process to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods. Your role will involve planning shipment schedules, assigning drivers, and coordinating with different teams to optimize the supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and execute daily dispatch schedules - Process orders and ensure timely deliveries - Plan and coordinate with drivers and vehicle teams - Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams - Optimize delivery routes to save time and fuel - Check and manage delivery documents (such as challans, invoices) - Handle customer complaints and inquiries related to dispatch - Ensure compliance with transport laws and safety regulations - Provide regular dispatch reports to senior management - Manage emergency situations like delays or accidents Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in dispatch management or a similar role - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Knowledge of transport laws and regulations - Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies efficiently Please note that this is a full-time position with a night shift schedule.
