Dispatch Manager

As a Dispatch Manager, your role involves overseeing the complete dispatch process for galvanized steel products. This includes supervising post-galvanization product stacking, bundling, and ensuring systematic arrangement of products project-wise. Your coordination with production, quality, and logistics teams is crucial for maintaining dispatch efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise post-galvanization product stacking and ensure systematic shifting of material to the dispatch yard. - Oversee bundling and tagging project-wise for accurate identification and traceability. - Prepare loading plans based on project priority and coordinate with the logistics team for vehicle scheduling. - Monitor yard space utilization and optimize stacking layout to prevent congestion. - Maintain daily dispatch MIS including material movement, loaded items, pending dispatch, and vehicle status. - Ensure proper documentation (challans, invoices, e-way bills) is prepared and verified before dispatch. - Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies in quantities or product quality. - Monitor safety compliance during stacking, material handling, and vehicle loading. - Lead a small team of yard workers/operators and ensure proper manpower deployment. Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or yard operations within steel fabrication, galvanizing, or manufacturing industries. - Strong understanding of inventory management and dispatch planning. - Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar) for material movement tracking. - Excellent coordination and communication skills. - Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously. - Familiarity with safety protocols for yard and loading operations. Additional Details: Candidates with prior exposure to transmission line projects or galvanizing plants will be given preference. Hands-on experience in managing dispatch yards, loading operations, and third-party transporters is beneficial. Leadership skills to efficiently manage workers and drivers are essential for this role. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the location in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.,
