As the Dispatch Manager at Port Pro Transport Inc., your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the dispatch process to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of goods. This role is crucial in planning shipment schedules, assigning drivers, and coordinating with different teams to optimize the supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and execute daily dispatch schedules to meet delivery timelines. - Process orders efficiently to ensure timely deliveries to customers. - Plan and coordinate with drivers and vehicle teams for effective logistics management. - Collaborate closely with warehouse and inventory teams to streamline operations. - Optimize delivery routes to save time and fuel costs while maintaining efficiency. - Check and manage delivery documents, including challans and invoices, to ensure accuracy. - Handle customer complaints and inquiries related to dispatch with professionalism. - Ensure compliance with transport laws and safety regulations at all times. - Provide regular dispatch reports to senior management for operational insights. - Manage emergency situations like delays or accidents with a calm and effective approach. This is a full-time position that involves working the night shift. Additionally, you will be eligible for a yearly bonus.
