Director Workday (HR Tech)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Workday to take ownership of the Workday platform and drive scalable and efficient HR operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for system enhancements, troubleshooting, integrations, and data governance to ensure the seamless operation and optimization of Workday across various HR processes. Additionally, you will oversee a small team, manage complex HR system implementations, and lead change management initiatives for Workday upgrades and enhancements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Taking end-to-end ownership of the Workday HCM system - Driving strategy and execution for system integration, troubleshooting, and enhancements - Ensuring data governance and alignment with business objectives - Leading change management efforts for system upgrades - Leading and managing a small team effectively - Overseeing HR system implementations and process optimization - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful project execution - Ensuring regulatory compliance with standards such as SOX and GDPR - Collaborating with global teams and stakeholders to provide tailored solutions - Developing and managing relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants To be successful in this role, you should have: - 9-12 years of experience in HR Technology with a focus on Workday HCM - In-depth expertise in Workday HCM modules, configuration, integrations, and enhancements - Proven experience in team management, leadership, and mentoring - Strong background in HR system implementations, testing, and change management - Understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as SOX and GDPR - Collaboration skills with the ability to work with teams of all sizes - Desired skills include problem-solving, communication, and experience with data governance and reporting in Workday Chegg is a platform where millions of people globally learn with confidence.
