Director SEO

Role Overview: As the Director SEO at Lowes India, you will lead the Enterprise SEO Business team to drive natural search traffic to the website and develop and execute a best-in-class SEO strategy. Your responsibilities will include building long-term plans, defining SEO goals, and milestones, partnering across functional areas to enhance SEO performance, and scaling it to a leadership position in the industry. You will collaborate with multiple teams in India and the U.S., such as Marketing, Content, Product, and Technology, to achieve these objectives. Additionally, you will initiate and monitor contracts with third-party agencies, stay updated on market developments and technology trends, and develop efficient processes to improve team productivity. Your role will also involve hiring and developing talent within the team to meet the current and future needs of Lowes and its customers. Key Responsibilities: - Build long-term plans, define SEO goals, and milestones to enhance SEO performance. - Partner across multiple functional areas to scale SEO performance to a leadership position. - Develop efficient processes, implement best practices, and identify the best tools/technology to maximize SEO deliverables. - Initiate, build, and monitor contracts with third-party agencies to meet SEO goals within defined SLAs. - Stay abreast of market developments and technology trends to identify value-enabling opportunities. - Hire and develop talent within the team to continuously raise the talent bar. - Train, coach, and guide the team to meet the current and future needs of Lowes and its customers. - Provide effective leadership to each direct report by setting clear goals, objectives, and expectations. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of overall work experience. - 8+ years of core SEO experience in an SEO agency or as an SEO leader in the Retail/E-commerce industry. - 6+ years of leadership and people management experience. - Experience in working with US-based companies is preferred. - Experience in leading 3P Seller Support, Seller Experience, and/or Dropship teams is preferred. - Graduate in any discipline; a degree in Digital Marketing or a related field is a plus. - MBA or equivalent business degree from a Tier 1 institution is preferred. - Specialization/Certifications in Digital Marketing or a related field are preferred.,
