Job Description

Role Overview: As the Director of Sales Development at Attentive.ai, you will play a pivotal role in leading and building a high-performance outbound sales engine focused on engaging construction contractors across the US and Canadian markets. Your strategic vision and execution-focused approach will be instrumental in driving qualified pipeline growth and expanding the company's footprint in the industry. Key Responsibilities: - **Team Leadership & Development:** Build and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with a strong focus on outbound prospecting. Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and goal setting. - **Market Targeting & Outreach Strategy:** Design and implement outbound strategies tailored to engage construction contractors in the US and Canada. Develop regional-specific playbooks to effectively reach target audiences. - **Pipeline Ownership:** Take ownership of top-of-funnel performance by driving qualified lead generation and ensuring a consistent pipeline contribution to Account Executives. - **Outbound Messaging & Enablement:** Craft compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience. Train SDRs on objection handling, value positioning, and conversation frameworks to enhance outreach effectiveness. - **Data-Driven Optimization:** Utilize data and insights to enhance lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and conversion rates throughout the outbound funnel. - **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams to refine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions, improve lead quality, and ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up processes. - **Reporting & KPIs:** Track, analyze, and report on SDR team performance, focusing on key success metrics such as the number of qualified leads generated and revenue closed from outbound-sourced deals. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or sales development, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of successfully building and scaling outbound SDR teams. - Deep understanding of outbound sales strategies and tools, particularly targeting North American markets. - Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to optimize performance. - Excellent communication and team leadership abilities to drive team success. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams. - Willingness to work overlapping hours with US time zones to ensure effective collaboration and support.,
