Director of Physical Therapy

Physical Director's job includes managing physical education programs, organizing sports events, ensuring student participation, and overseeing staff. Key responsibilities involve budget management, promoting healthy lifestyles, and coordinating with other departments

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive wellness and fitness programs

Supervise and manage a team of fitness instructors and coaches

Evaluate the effectiveness of current fitness programs and make adjustments as needed

Maintain and manage fitness equipment and facilities

Develop educational materials and conduct workshops on health and fitness topics

Ensure all programs comply with safety and regulatory standards

Monitor participant progress and provide guidance to help them meet their fitness goals

Collaborate with medical and healthcare professionals when necessary

Organize fitness-related events and community outreach activities

Responsible to encourage students to participate in sports. Ø

Accountable for the smooth conduct of sports regularly to all batches of students.

Coordinate with Accounts officer to purchase sports material and facilities.

Responsible to report to principal regarding issues related to sports.

Accountable to circulate information regarding sports competitions to all students.

To ensure for preparation of the annual budget for sports.

To facilitate students to involve in NSS activities and report the same to Principal.

Will take initiation to help the organization of various events in the college.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or A Master's degree in Physical Education is typically the minimum requirement,

Certified Fitness Trainer or equivalent certification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fitness or wellness management role

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of current fitness trends and practices

CPR and First Aid certified
