As the Director of Cloud & Core Infrastructure Services at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a crucial role in driving the evolution of hybrid infrastructure across on-premises data centers and multi-cloud environments. Your responsibilities will span across Cloud & Compute Services, Storage & Data Protection, and Platform Engineering & Virtualization, ensuring the delivery of resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms that support the company's digital transformation and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of hybrid compute platforms across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. - Ensure infrastructure solutions are cloud-optimized, secure, and aligned with business and technology strategies. - Champion infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery and improve reliability. - Oversee enterprise storage and backup platforms, including cloud-native storage and hybrid solutions. - Drive modernization initiatives to transition legacy storage to cloud-based, scalable, and cost-efficient architectures. - Implement data protection strategies that meet compliance, recovery, and business continuity requirements. - Manage virtualization platforms and container orchestration to support dynamic workloads. - Guide the adoption of cloud-native compute services and serverless architectures. - Ensure platform resilience, performance, and observability through proactive monitoring and automation. - Govern infrastructure operations through ITSM best practices across cloud and on-prem environments. - Manage vendor-delivered services and ensure SLAs are met for infrastructure availability, performance, and support. - Act as a senior escalation point for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid resolution and root cause analysis. - Lead a globally distributed team of engineers and product owners across different regions. - Partner with application, security, and product teams to align infrastructure capabilities with evolving business needs. - Drive cross-functional programs that enable cloud adoption, infrastructure optimization, and digital transformation. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 18+ years of experience in managing Server Platform Infrastructure, AWS Cloud Environment, and Windows & Linux Infrastructure. - Extensive experience in managing SAN, NAS, Backup & Cloud Backup Infrastructure. - 10+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record in delivering business and technical roadmaps. - Strong knowledge of server architecture, storage solutions, and cloud technologies. - Ability to design, deploy, and manage large-scale Infrastructure operations. - Skilled in ITSM practices, automation, and monitoring solutions. - Experience in managing budgets and optimizing costs related to infrastructure initiatives. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **About Our Company:** Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, with a focus on Asset Management, Retirement Planning, and Insurance Protection.
