What you will do      In this vital role you will support the scaling and operational excellence of our Global Commercial Capabilities (GCC) delivery model in India. As a key member of the AIN GCC leadership team, this Director will partner closely with the Executive Director to enable high-quality delivery, foster innovation, and ensure seamless collaboration across global teams. This role will focus on driving executional excellence, advancing automation and digital capability adoption, and leading impactful teams that support Amgens global commercial operations.  
  
Operational Leadership & Delivery Excellence
   -  Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of core commercial operations and GCC capability projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and measurable business impact.  
-  Drive operational excellence and consistency across India-based teams, aligning with enterprise standards and governance  
-  Ensure projects and programs are completed time, within scope and budget, while maintaining a continuous improvement attitude.  
 
Technology, Automation, and Innovation Enablement
   -  Partner with global capability leaders to pilot and scale tech-forward initiatives, including automation, AI, and analytics applications  
-  Champion adoption of emerging technologies and tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and agility across GCC operations.  
-  Support the evaluation and implementation of innovative approaches that reimagine how commercial capabilities deliver value globally.  
 
Talent Leadership and Team Development
   -  Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing India-based team spanning multiple functional areas and fields.  
-  Partner with HR to support GCCs global talent strategy, focusing on upskilling, career development, and retention of critical talent.  
-  Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning within the team.  
 
Global Collaboration and key Collaborator Management
   -  Serve as a key interface between India delivery teams and global GCC leadership, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on goals, priorities, and outcomes.  
-  Collaborate across time zones and functions to enable a truly integrated, always-on global model.  
-  Partner with key internal and external key collaborator to optimize resource allocation and delivery quality.  
 
Financial and Vendor Oversight
   -  Support the Executive Director in financial planning, forecasting, and governance of AIN operations.  
-  Contribute to strategic sourcing and budget efficiency initiatives across GCC

   Basic Qualifications:   
  -  18 - 23 years of experience across commercial operations, analytics, automation, or digital capability development within a complex, global organization.  
Preferred Qualifications: -  Experience in the biopharma or life sciences industry.

-  Strong leadership experience in building and managing hard-working teams across global or matrixed environments.
