As a Director of Commercial Leasing for our organization based in Gurgaon, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing retail leasing operations across our diverse portfolio. Your main responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic leasing management plans to optimize occupancy and rental yield for office spaces, retail outlets, and mixed-use developments. By fostering strong relationships with corporate tenants, brokers, and stakeholders, you will drive revenue generation, manage the leasing lifecycle, ensure profitability, and provide data-driven market insights. In this leadership position, you will take ownership of the P&L for the commercial leasing vertical, ensuring that revenue targets are not only met but exceeded. Your expertise in monitoring leasing budgets, conducting forecasting, and aligning financial planning with business objectives will be crucial. By analyzing ROI and performance metrics, you will continuously strive to enhance profitability and cost-effectiveness. Identifying and securing new leasing opportunities, as well as anchor tenants, will be a key aspect of your role. Your focus on driving sales strategies to boost occupancy rates and minimize vacancy rates will be essential in achieving these goals. Leveraging market networks to generate leads, close leasing deals, and provide valuable market insights will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions. By tracking market trends, pricing benchmarks, demand forecasts, and tenant preferences, you will be able to utilize data effectively to recommend property upgrades or repositioning for optimal returns. Additionally, you will oversee leasing activities for large-scale commercial projects from pre-launch to stabilization, collaborating closely with development and project teams to ensure market-aligned designs and efficient lease administration. Leading and mentoring the leasing team, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with finance, legal, marketing, and operations teams, will be integral to your success in this role. Representing the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, and client meetings will also be part of your responsibilities. Your ability to drive high performance and accountability, along with your strong network of corporate clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders, will be essential in achieving our organizational goals. To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field (an MBA is preferred), along with at least 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, including 5 years in a leadership position. A proven track record in commercial leasing, P&L management, and revenue growth, as well as excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, will be key to your success. Your ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment will also be crucial for this full-time position.
